As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer/Product & Process Service Head.
What We Expect from You
Experience:
5+ years of experience in retail/financial banking, fintech, or financial companies.
Proven work experience in Moldova within the last 2–3 years in banking or fintech with an understanding of fintech products.
Expertise in building payment products.
Experience in designing operational models and functionality for implementing payment services.
Proven record in implementing technologies essential for operational activities.
Experience in connecting to clearing systems in Moldova and the EU.
Preferred: Experience working in financial company teams implementing large-scale tech solutions.
Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in English (minimum Upper-Intermediate).
In-depth knowledge of multicurrency accounts, payment SAPI, MIA, SEPA & SWIFT, money remittance, FX products, and related transactions.
Understanding of operational departments’ processes for product implementation.
Knowledge of fintech financial services.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for fintech payment services.
Strong understanding of local and international payment clearing processes and infrastructure development.
Awareness of fintech regulations and market development in Moldova.
Your Key Responsibilities
Build and optimize operational infrastructure for payment transactions, account opening, and servicing.
Oversee the development of customer processes using payment tools across remote channels.
Develop business requirements to streamline processes.
Participate in process and product testing, ensuring continuous improvement.
Monitor and analyze legislative requirements regarding account opening and transaction execution in Moldova, enhance knowledge by adopting best practices from global players.
Collaborate with various departments to launch projects and products.
Manage the process backlog and project plans related to payment services.
Align and approve system selection and implementation plans with relevant departments.
Ensure the successful implementation of systems for operational activities.
Maintain communication with partners and vendors to ensure timely launch of operational activities.
