Technical Engineering manager

We are looking for a skilled Technical Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers, ensure the delivery of high-quality products, and drive technical excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of highly skilled engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement;
Guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring high standards of quality and timely delivery
Maintain and oversee a QA proceses, proposing innovative approaches to testing and quality assurance
Set clear performance goals for the team and provide regular feedback through one-on-one meetings and performance reviews;
Monitor project progress, identify and address roadblocks, and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines
Conduct code reviews to maintain software quality and provide constructive feedback to engineers
Drive initiatives to improve code quality, testing processes, and deployment practices
Implement and refine development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to enhance team efficiency
Participate in hiring and onboarding new developers to grow and strengthen the team

Requirements:

BS degree in Computer Science, Math, or related technical field
5+ years experience in developing and deploying high-quality web applications
2+ years of experience as a technical lead or in a similar leadership role
Understanding in programming languages such as Java, Python, or others
Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or other development methodologies
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Familiarity with cloud-native services like Kubernetes and serverless architecture
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
Experience managing live cycle of unit, integration and regression tests
Strong skills in documentation and complex system design structuring
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Proven ability to lead and maintain QA process, implementing innovative testing practices
